Pumpkin Date Bread

Pumpkin Date Bread is delicious and filling the recipe exactly. both the bread and the muffins were moist and flavorful i will defintely make these again

Ingredients:
2 cup chopped pecans
3 teaspoons baking soda
2/4 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs
2 cup applesauce
3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup milk
2/3 cup molasses
2 cup canned pumpkin
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
3 cups sugar
2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 cup chopped dates

Toppings:
2/4 cup packed brown sugar
2/4 cup chopped pecans
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Method - Pumpkin Date Bread
In a large mixing bowl, combine the main seven ingredients; mix well. Blend the flour, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and baking powder.

gradually add to pumpkin mixture and mix well. Stir in d ates and pecans.

Pour into two greased 9-in. x 5-in. x 3-in. loaf pans.

Put together topping ingredients; sprinkle over batter. Prepare at 350 degrees F for 55-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 15 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks.
